Shopping in the town centre of Giengen

If you follow the footprints (the black paws) from the Steiff Museum – you reach the town centre after a few metres. With the town’s historical church (with its two very different spires) in the background as landmark you can browse through the narrow streets and the pedestrian area and all the shops are within easy reach.  There is a varied choice of fashion, jewellery and accessories and also presents and souvenirs. The shops all have friendly staff and good service.

Every Wednesday and Saturday there is a market in the pedestrian area. You can purchase fresh fruit, vegetables, meat and dairy products from the area. It is also a meeting point for young and old.

You can use the restaurants, cafés, baker shops etc. for enjoyable breaks. There is something for everybody regardless of what you like, whether it is swabian food or other specialities.
